Gary Cecil - Buried Secrets - Book For Under a Buck!

Gary Cecil's Buried Secrets - Max and his wife, Megan, just moved into their new home. It's a charming Victorian, that did not come with the typical Victorian price tag. Sure, it needs some paint thrown on here and there, but soon--with a baby on the way--it will be the perfect home for their family.

Things quickly begin to change, though. They hear noises at night, and even feel things crawling in their sheets. But that's not the worst of it. There's a foul smell in the air sometimes, and something even fouler in the basement.

When the power goes out, Max goes into the basement to find the breaker, and what he finds, is something much worse.

Can the young couple survive this horrible fate?   Or... are some secrets just too damned evil to be kept buried.

BURIED SECRETS will keep you wondering to the very last page. At approximately 2,800 words, this spine-tingling horror tale is guaranteed to make you laugh and squirm, as the young couple move into their house, only to realize... they're not alone.

I'll Haunt You When I'm Dead Pilot

I'll Haunt You When I'm Dead was a nice surprise I ran into while I was watching The Ghost Inside My Child in the wee hours of the AM last night on Biography. I couldn't sleep so I watched the first episode of The Ghost Inside My Child on demand (I have Comcast - it was free) after my late viewing of this week's episode of True Blood, which by the way, this season has certainly held my attention.

I really did think Violet was going to take Jason by force, and I'm not sure why, because I took Vi for a same sex oriented individual, but wonders never cease, so yeah...anyway...

I'm watching The Ghost Inside My Child, which you can check out on The Bio Channel or here...drifting off into a sleep I fight ever so vigilantly for days at a time, and on pops a pilot episode of I'll Haunt You When I'm Dead randomly, so randomly that I thought it was a commercial, but it just kept going for an entire episode that held my attention.

I really dug it. I hope they pick it up and it becomes a show, 'cuz it was pretty realistic as far as the whole I'm gonna tell you my story and actors are going to reinact it type deal. I like that style of show opposed to the stupid infrared camera and fake noises people overreact to. It was creepy and the people seemed pretty believable sort of like the whole "A Haunting" deal. I loved that show!  You can check out old episodes online of A Haunting on The Discovery Channel website here!!!

Anyway, I was excited about that and I can't complain too much about Haunted History on H2 either, one of my new favorite channels. They covered H.H. Holmes Murder Castle is Chicago. H.H. is pretty underrated on the creepy scale, psycho!!! The Manson Murders was sort of played out so that week I was disappointed, but I was pretty psyched about Lost Souls of Pennhurst Asylum, because they had a person that really lived there being interviewed, who was pretty normal and high functioning so that freaked me out, knowing that she lived there and had to endure all that crap and I can get why it would be haunted now!

You can watch a little bit more about old H.H. below!

This is a documentary I caught on Amazon a couple of years back, but its free on Hulu now.

I think they are doing a whole tour thing, so if you want to watch the trailer of that, its linked above, guys! Its in Eastern Pennsylvania so if you are in Pennsylvania or visiting, here's a super tourist destination, sceeeeery!!!!
You can watch H.H. Holmes and the Murder Castle and Pennhurst State School on H2 here.

Bio Channel - My Haunted House & SyFy Paranormal Witness

I'm such a ghost-hunter fan, but only when shows come on TV that aren't BS and aren't shot in that stupid green infrared cam that looks like you are lurking around in Buffalo Bill's basement, say, you about a size 14?

I've always had a problem with Buffalo Bill, you know since my answer to that question would be um, crap, yeah, I am, can ya not kill me please, and I'm wicked weak and out of shape, so no, I can't help you out with that couch.

You'd probably have a better chance with broken bones.  I'll probably just drop it on your leg so you can have a broken arm and a broken leg.  Fat chance, Buffalo Bill, I will not be part of your lady suit, mo fo!!!

But, anyway, since Bill is dead and I assure you, I cannot smell any of you, not even the type of cream you are wearing....even so, he's not real anyway, I digress....

Did we see the episode of My Ghost Story with the nurse and the catatonic patient?  Its called, "Trapped".  That scared the ever living bejesus out of me...

Its on the Bio Channel at 9 pm Eastern & 8 pm Central on Saturday nights when you guys are probably out having fun and I'm at home watching ghost-related shows.  I no longer have a boyfriend who can chill with me in bed and watch those shows, oh wait, my last bf didn't watch those shows anyway.  No, he's not dead, but I wish he was!  Just kidding...anyway, yeah...so...I tried to find a clip on the Bio website, but it told me f**k no, you can't have one.  Yes, websites speak to me, they do!  They told me you can watch it at this link since I could not actually post the freaking video here.  "They" told me!!!!

It'd also be groovy if the website told us when its on, but you know what, it doesn't.

Ok, well, DailyMotion, however, does have the entire episode.  I love you DailyMotion.  Good looking out! But damn you for making me sign up for your affiliate thing so I could post this, so I will just post the link since I'm sure you guys don't feel like waiting until I someday get approved, efffffff!!!!!

Here it is, at long last, for the love of god, really?

Now, on to other matters...Paranormal Witness...

Yes, so new episodes on Wednesday 9 Eastern, 8 Central, do we have a date with SyFy???  Good...

Its Season 3, apparently, and although this is still one of the better paranormal shows, the stories aren't as super as they used to be, but they all can't be A Haunting, can they?  I miss that show!!!!

Season 2 was the best season with the Dybbuk box and stuff.  I wonder if that movie the Possession is based on that guy's story????

You can watch that one here, which is like the best one ever!

The dybbuk box, by the way, is for sale on eBay, I'm good, I don't want it!  The real one from the show was for sale on eBay, but I don't think this is actually it, which means some a-hole bought it.  Good luck, pal!  Watch the episode and you will get it.  They actually say it was for sale on eBay on the episode, wow!!!  MMMM, yeah, I'm good, or was it the movie, I don't know, something like that.

The Possession

I was hopeful and I can't say The Possession totally delivered, but it was a decent flick with a completely different spin on peeps being possessed.  I also can't say I am an eternal optimist.  I'm quite the pessimist, so did you really think I would have anything that good to say!?  I gotta tell ya when the little girl sticks the fork in her father's hand, I was kinda sold right there.  I'm pretty sure, however, I saw an episode of Paranormal Witness when the story was exactly the same, from which The Possession clearly stemmed, but I am just speculating.  I definitely will steer clear of purchasing wooden boxes with crafty etching at family yard and estate sales of my Jewish neighbors and friends.  Creepy!  I guess that would really suck if my kid was obsessed with a creepy wooden box with mirrors in it and shiz.  I would not be psyched so...yeah, its definitely worth renting, because you might jump a couple of times and its very original.

I am disappointed with A Hunting in Connecticut 2.  I watched the cheesy preview and I have no desire to see it.  However, I did like A Haunting in Georgia when it aired on A Haunting and its unfortunate that they had to ruin the integrity of a perfectly good tale and make it really suck!  Boo!  Oh, and Comcast is charging $6.99 to watch this piece of garbage.  Really?

You can rent it for $3.99 on YouTube, but its not available on Amazon or Netflix as of yet.
