Free Independence Day Horror Films

Return of the Living Dead (1985) - Return of the Living Dead, which requires no explanation, I hope...takes place during the 4th of July Holiday in the United States.

Two Thouand Maniacs! (1964) - Now, when do we think the Guts and Glory Jubilee takes place?  Its, of course, during the 4th of July when the South get revenge on the Northerners from the United States (Yankees).

Cape Fear (1991)
- A convicted sexual offender (raper - yup, i said raper) is released from prison after serving 14 years to stalk the family of the lawyer who defended him. This movie also takes place during the 4th of July festivities.  This is one of Robert DeNiro's more interesting and riveting performances, in my opinion.

Three Hysterical Horror Movie Scenes

In no necessary order, these horror scenes have continued to entertain me for as long as it has been since I viewed them.  I share these with you guys for you to enjoy as I have!

Dead Alive - Zombie Baby

The Zombie Baby laughing is adorable and to think of a baby attacking you and you having to fight back at it kills me.  Baby's end is pretty stellar, too.  I think its cute!  He looks like Chunk's son!  Baby Ruth???  That is one happy little f*cker!

Return of the Living Dead - Talking Half Corpse - It Hurts to Be Dead!

Ernie the undertaker asks the talking half corpse on the gurney why Zombies eat people and gets a reply.  "Not people, brains.", to which Ernie's reply is, "Why"?  Again, Ernie gets a reply, "The pain, the pain of being dead."  Just watch it.  She tells Ernie why, okay!!!!

Trilogy of Terror - The Zuni Fetish Doll

I don't know why, but this has struck me funny as well as my little brother since were were really little! Ok, I do know why, because its freakin' funny! He used to call it the movie with the Woo Woo Doll in it.

Wicked Awesome Zombie Flicks!

Return of the Living Dead (1985) - The government creates a toxic gas.  The top secret barrels of the toxic gas are hidden away in a storage facility.  The toxic gas gets out of the barrel and dead people come to life.  What's not to love!

Best Scene - Do You Ever Fantasize About Being Killed???!!!

Check out the whole movie below!!!

Land of the Dead - The zombies in Land of the Dead are intelligent, they are banded together, and they are much scarier, because they think and they are fast!  The humans have created their own fortress away from the zombie population as they roam outside this complex.  There are those who want to live in their overtaken world where the zombies roam and hunt them mercilessly, good stuff!

This guy defends the other zombies, because he is smart.  He doesn't like people killing his pals for no reason.  So what if they want to eat your brains!

I don't know about everybody, but I really liked Fido.  The zombies in Fido wear a collar that makes them docile and they are slaves to the humans.  They have jobs working in their yards, cooking their food, and taking care of their kids and pets.  If the collar comes off, there is a problem!  No problem!  There is an entire company that keeps zombie outbreaks and the zombies that get out of control in check, but its kinda sad!

Masters of Horror: Homecoming (2005)

As an unpopular war rages overseas, the administration wishes our dead troops could return home and tell how proud they were to serve, Veterans rise from their flag-draped coffins for the most horrific reason of all: to vote.

Return of the Living Dead

Filmed in 1985, this is my favorite zombie movie!  A band of 80's New Wave, Punks, and Rudie kids stumble onto some trouble.  You see, they are waiting for their friend to get off work at a supply company, where there is an Army zombie gas spill.  The men who work for Uneeda Supply Company (a medical supply company with lots of dead things warehoused within) try to take care of the problem at the local crematorium, where Uneeda's owner knows Ernie, a friend of 25 years, who he asks for a favor.  They should have left it alone!
