10 Anime Horror Movies & Shows


Blood: The Last Vampire (2000) - A vampire, Saya, who is part of clandestine government agency that tracks, captures, and obliterates demons in a post-WWII Japan, is stationed in a military school to detect classmates, who are hiding out and are in fact, really demon in the guise of human students.





Blood C (Series) (2011) -  What's left of a one very powerful clan of vampires that once had high hopes of ruling the world, but were defeated in a war, where they faced vampires from other clans and their allies, which happened to be human.  The clan of vampires abducts the brother of a vampire war veteran. The vampire war veteran seeks to find his brother, who was captured and held by the opposing vampire clan in an "underground" vampire city.




Vampire Hunter D (1985) - In a distant future, which is ruled by the supernatural, a girl seeks an alliance and the assistance of a vampire hunter to destroy the vampire who bit her to ensure she won't become a vampire.





Lady Death (2004) - Lucifer's (Yes, as in Satan) daughter is burned at the stake in 15th century Sweden and plots revenge against her father, The Devil himself.



Dante's Inferno (2010) - Dante traverses the nine circles of Hell (limbo, lust, gluttony, greed, anger, heresy, violence, fraud and treachery) to find his soul-mate, Beatrice, which begs the question, is Bea Arthur his true love?





Descendants of Darkness (Series) (2000 - ?) -  A "Guardian of Death" investigates a rash of vampire attacks in Nagasaki.

Hell Girl (Series) (2005-2009) - When someone wishes revenge, they are beckoned to post about it on a specific website at midnight.  Subsequently, Hell Girl appears to do their bidding.



Yes, its legal, lol! Its Hulu.


Inuyasha (Series) (1996-2008) - A teenage girl periodically travels back in time to feudal Japan to help a "half-demon" recover the shards of a orb of great power.


 
Elfen Lied (Series) (2004 - ?) - College students, Kohta and Yuka rescue, "Lucy" when they find her passed out naked on a beach.  "Lucy", in actuality, may be a serial killer who is being hunted by the government.  The rescuers are unaware of who "Lucy" really is.





Boogiepop Phantom (Series) (2000 - ?) - In an unnamed city in Japan, a month after a pillar of light appeared in the night sky, five years after a succession of serial murders, Boogiepop Phantom follows a cast of characters, mostly high school students, who witnessed the aforementioned incident and its consequences. High school students start to disappear again and Boogiepop, an urban legend who is said to be the personification of Death, is blamed.
