House of 1,000 Corpses (2003) - An American exploitation horror flick written, co-scored and directed by Rob Zombie, and starring Chris Hardwick, Rainn Wilson, Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, Sheri Moon Zombie, and Karen Black.

The plot focuses on two couples who are held hostage by a sadistic backwoods family on Halloween.

What does this have to do with clowns? One of the main characters in the film is Captain Spaulding, who happens to be a clown that sells chicken in his museum. House of 1,000 Corpses is available on Amazon & Vudu.

The Devil's Rejects (2005) - A German-American horror sequel, written and directed by Rob Zombie, to his 2003 film House of 1000 Corpses. The film is centered on the run of three members of the psychopathic antagonist family from the previous film, now seen as antiheroic protagonists, with Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, and Sheri Moon Zombie reprising their roles. Again Sid Haig portrays Captian Spaulding, the patriarch of The Firefly Family.

The It (1990)  - Based on the novel of the same name, Stephen King's The It was a 1990 mini-series that aired on ABC in two segments so its essentially just a very long movie.  Most people don't realize that Pennywise the Clown is portrayed by Tim Curry, the very same actor who is known for his role in Rocky Horror Picture Show as the twisted, sexy, and perverted Frank N. Furter.  He also portrayed Gomez Addams in the
2008 Addams Family Reunion movie along Darryl Hannah as Morticia Addams.

The story revolves around an inter-dimensional predatory life-form, which has the ability to transform itself into its prey's worst fears, allowing it to exploit the phobias of its victims. It mostly takes the form of a sadistic, wisecracking clown called "Pennywise the Dancing Clown".

The protagonists are "The Losers Club", a group of outcast kids who discover Pennywise and vow to destroy him by any means necessary. The series takes place over two different time periods, the first when the Losers first discover Pennywise as children, and the second when they're called back as adults to defeat Pennywise, who has resurfaced.

Killjoy (2000) - Killjoy, a demonic clown, is summoned to get revenge.  The revenge-seeker comes to regret the decisions to bring him back, of course. Killjoy is available on Redbox Instant by Verizon and Amazon Instant Video.  Both offer 30 day free trials if you haven't tried them yet.
